Trauma Informed Mindfulness 10/15 at 9:30am CST


Constant stress is pretty much the norm this day and age. Most people prioritize their jobs above their wellness and while they made sound good in theory, it’s actually not the best for productivity and in turn, profit. As humans, we store our emotions in our bodies so if something happened years ago and you haven’t done the work to clear it, or if something happened this morning, your body remembers.

In this training, participants will learn evidence-based, trauma informed mindfulness practices and tools they can use to immediately shift the stress in their bodies (bye-bye clenched jaw and raised shoulders) and come back to peace to better perform and improve their social/emotional health.

Trauma Informed Mindfulness Training Objectives
• Understand the long-term effects of unaddressed stress & trauma
• Learn tools for building resilience to secondary stress & trauma (the stress absorbed from working with stressed populations)
• Understand the long-term implications of stress on the body and how to strategically begin releasing tension.
